I've always jogged using Nike running shoes but since stepping up my game, I recently decided to replace my well-worn shoes with this pair of Nike Zoom Pegasus 33's and with almost a month's worth of jogging underfoot I highly recommend them! They're certainly not the cheapest but as I jog 5Km or so, 6 to 7 days a week - I certainly need to keep my feet as comfortable as possible!
Here's to many happy miles of putting one foot in front of the other!
EVE CHAMOMILE TEA
A friend of mine, on hearing that I was having trouble sleeping six or so months back - truth be told, I am not a well rested person - perhaps it has something to do with my anxiety issues? Anyhow, he mentioned to me that his wife was a Chamomile Tea lover and he pointed me in the direction of Eve Chamomile Tea.; most of the tea's I have seen in the shops are 'Chamomile Flavoured' whereas this is the real deal. The only place I have managed to source it is in the health section of most Dischem stores. I highly recommend it.
Just add hot water and allow to steep - perfect.
VIDA E CAFFE DOUBLE CAPPUCCINO
I have become somewhat of a regular Vida e Caffe - Portuguese for 'life and coffee' - visitor since joining the Discovery Active Rewards programme - if I achieve my weekly goals, I am rewarded with up to three voucher's a week. I like the Caffe Gelado but prefer their Double Cappuccino!
Expertly made by barista, Gift, at Vida e Caffe, Florida Road.
ZA REPUBLIK - MIDLANDS MILK AND HONEY NURTURING HAND & NAIL TREATMENT
Chris often teases me by saying that I have reptile hands! As I do wash my hands more so than most (OCD much?!), there is an element of truth to his joking. Luckily, I found this hand and nail cream - with honey and yoghurt extract - at The Beauty Factory Store, Norwood Mall in Johannesburg. It is a nice, light hand cream that smells good too - it manages to keep my hands feeling pampered and looking good! I highly recommend it!
