Album cover. This week's #tbt we find ourselves traveling back to 2002, again, when the collaboration between music producer Guy Sigsworth and singer Imogen Heap took place - the duo took the name Frou Frou and produced their only album - Details. I can't remember how I stumbled upon this album but I recall trawling through every Musica and Look And Listen to find it - which I did, eventually... Imogen's singing voice reminds me so much of Dido, but just darker and slightly edgier. It is also one of those rare albums where almost every song is instantly likeable - so no having to skip songs.
According to Wikipedia their music falls under the genres of Electronica, Ambient and Trip-Hop. What I like most about this album, apart from the obviously awesome music, is that these two people joined forces to create a piece of art and then they went their separate ways - apart from a forgettable cover they recorded for a movie soundtrack a few years later. There's not much in the way of official music videos available online but check the links below for some of the music from the album. Until next time, Rev
