As most of you are aware, I'm a co-parent, along with Chris, to our pack of gorgeous dogs - affectionately referred to as 'the hounds'. I'm also trying my best to assist Chris - wherever possible - in managing our company's accounts, working as an admin specialist for one of our products that we market and trying to make sure everything runs smoothly at home (here in Durban and our rental in Johannesburg).
Then there's Aunty Helen and family - let's just say I'm considered their extended family - I help out my 'Durban Mom' whenever and with whatever I can - she is such a special lady who, in just being herself, has encouraged and supported my cooking adventures! I dabble in amateur photography and, not forgetting, baking and cooking.
There will indeed be mentions made of walking, yoga, pilates and weight loss.
I'm also a collector (of sorts) of vintage, mostly kitchen and baking related things - that can still be used (mostly) - there's something to be enjoyed by the design and quality of things made in times gone by,
When it comes to subject matter, my blog will feature topics that interest me; I have no brand as such. There shall be loads of recipes and photos, not to forget my ever-expanding vintage finds collection. Mostly, my inspiration comes from my day-to-day life, which will include talking about Chris, our hounds and whatever else is happening in our lives - there will probably be a tinge of a theme that runs through my writing - which is to be expected - but I can assure you one post will never be the same to the next. It will just be me, trying to connect with whomever visits my site - where I can express myself, on my own terms - to tell my truth. A place where I can talk about everything and nothing - all at the same time!
If you feel like dropping me a line, please feel free - I always enjoy getting mail - and if you happen to find what I am blogging or posting about of interest, please do re-post on whichever social media networks you happen to be on, or to share with friends.
My site will evolve and grow organically over time - as my interests change - and as I find my feet in the blogging sphere. It's just me, letting you into the organised chaos that is my mind.
